Kim Kardashian is coming to Sydney town!

I have been asked to be one of the photographers to cover Kim Kardashian's Australian visit. One of the things I love about being a photographer for big concerts or events is, that there is a small shoulder or space between the artist or stage and the crowd. But then I learn that the crowd will be IN the shoulder...GRATE! (not a spelling mistake) It will be an interesting experience.

That said, whilst i know WHO Kim is, and that, I have never watched an episode of her un-reality TV show and am ambivalent about that kind of fame or excess, but what the hell, I will go along for the ride.

While most Hollywood divorcees would seek the anonymity of a tropical island or the seclusion of their mansions, the 31-year-old will join thousands at the races this Saturday.
Just hours after confirming the end of her 72-day marriage to basketballer Kris Humphries, the reality TV star has sparked an international media stampede to Australia, which she is visiting to meet business commitments.
First stop Sydney, where Kim and sister Khloe will present their handbag range during a VIP party at Hugo's bar in Kings Cross tomorrow night.
With no time to wallow in the end of Kardashian's short-lived but lucrative marriage, the designer sisters will meet fans at the David Jones city store tomorrow - where buying a bag (from $39.95) will buy you face time.
Later in the day the duo will head to Strand Bags, Westfield Miranda, for another chance to press the flesh.
She is then expected to fly to Melbourne on Friday, ahead of Stakes Day and appearances in the Swisse marquee on Saturday.
Victoria Racing Club officials confirmed they had received a "sudden influx" of media accreditation requests.

Kim Kardashian has been mobbed by the press as she touched down in Sydney this morning.

The reality TV star struggled to make her way through the airport as crowds scrambled to catch a glimpse of the newly-single star.

NSW police attempted to keep the media scrum at bay, pushing through the frenzy to lead Kardashian to a waiting black car.

Dressed in a black jacket, sunglasses and ski-high heels, she was without her $2 million diamond engagement and wedding rings.

The reality star left LA last night, hours after she filed for divorce from NBA player husband Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage.

Her sudden divorce announcement has seen an influx of international paparazzi following her to Australia.
