Last night with The Brewster Brothers
Last night I again had the distinct pleasure of photographing the amazing Brewster Brothers, guitarists and joint songwriters of the legendary Australian Rock Band called the Angels. They have gone back to their roots so to speak with just the two of them. The sound is different and very tight. They played at the Brass monkey in Cronulla, a small and very intimate venue with great food cooked by Jack the owner!
I was able to sit with them before going on stage and shared some great moments with John and Rick and John's sons Tom and Sam as well. They started talking to me about the short documentary on Adelaide (south Australian) TV on sunday night just passed. The Angels have an upcoming concert tour with the Adelaide art orchestra in April as well, and in the snippet from Postcards you can see them rehearsing in the studio and being interviewed and I shot those sequences on a dear friend Tristan's Mini Hi-Def broadcast camera. Thanks again Tristan. The footage was used for the TV special and kind made me feel quite special, considering that video is not my gig! They used quite a few segments I shot, and to have had that air on national TV was quite a treat.

Also, the girls and I are wondering if Denzel is out of the hospital. Katie mentioned yesterday we should make up another small package JUST for Denzel. It was the goldfish he liked, right? Or was it the animal crackers? Remind us.
And please do update us on how he is feeling and if he's home now.
and yes it was the goldfish!! Love you guys. It is 1am on Friday morning here, and I just got home from a concert and have been processing the images already! I imagine that it is a bright warm day there in spring. Isnt this world amazing!
I'm glad Denzel is home at least and on the mend. Hopefully his gums will be healed up by the time our package arrives. :)
And keep imagining a bright warm day here for us. We are actually expecting snow later today and then tomorrow. But it's 8am right now and the sun is shining so we are all in good spirits!!! Spring is definitely on its way.
Take care, you and your family. Talk with you later. :)
