Animal Works Exhibition
A dear friend and very talented artist Nafisa held an exhibition at the landship at Headland park on Sydney's North. Amidst the impending rain, and ominous clouds it was a complete success. The people who were there were clearly supporters of both Nafisa and her animal images that were all on display and for sale.
The exhibition was opened by the irrepressible Glenn A. Baker, and also featured Animal Works partner and animal advocate, Dr. Tammie Matson. One of the added highlights of the exhibition opening was having some animals from feature creatures, a brilliant hands on animal show where you can get up close and personal with a goanna, snakes, stick insects, frilled necked lizards and even a small crocodile!
I am a big fan of this wonderful lady and her work. If I could afford to, I would be a proud buyer of her work.
It was a wonderful event. Nafisa has a very generous heart, and all the proceeds of her works raised goes directly to elephant conservation in india. She is passionate about preserving wildlife and the delicate eco balance in the world. All the images were drawn, painted or created from actual animals that she saw and interacted with personally. The detail she has captured in her work is sincerely breath taking.
If you would like to make a real difference, just know that you can for as little as $10, you can help feed an orphaned baby elephant with milk. Please click on to the Animal Works website below and see how you can make a difference.

Great shots at Nafisa's show... Unfortunately I couldn't get to the opening, but zipped along during the show. Consistent with her high standards, Nafisa does some amazing stuff. Looking forward to bumping into you again soon. Keep up the amazing work!
