a Humorous note?
This is a letter penned by some humorous soul and was forwarded to me in an email from a friend. Whilst it technically borders the margin of decency and appropriateness, I have chosen to show it here because of it's comedic value. Please note that it is done so purely for fun, and no harm or offence is intended or conveyed in any reference to any person. I think though, it sums up how some of society may feel on occasion with decisions made by the current and any former government for that matter.

Dear People of Australia ,
Due to the current financial situation caused by the slowdown of the
Economy, your Government has decided to implement a scheme to put
Workers 50 years of age and older on early retirement. This scheme
Will be known as R.A.P.E (Retire Aged People Early).
Persons selected to be R.A.P.E.D can apply to the government to be eligible
For the S.H.A.F.T scheme (Special Help After Forced Termination).
Persons who have been R.A.P.E.D and S.H.A.F.T.E.D will be reviewed under the
S.C.R.E.W program (Scheme Covering Retired Early Workers). A person may be
R.A.P.E.D once, S.H.A.F.T.E.D twice and S.C.R.E.W.E.D as many times as the government
Deems appropriate.
Only persons who have been R.A.P.E.D can get A.I.D.S (Additional Income for
Dependants & Spouse) or H.E.R.P.E.S (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel
Early Severance). Obviously, persons who have A.I.D.S or H.E.R.P.E.S will not
Be S.H.A.F.T.E.D or S.C.R.E.W.E.D any further by the government..
Persons who are not R.A.P.E.D and are staying on, will receive as much S..H.I.T
(Special High Intensity Training) as possible. The government
Has always prided itself in the amount of S.H.I.T it gives out. Should
You feel that you do not receive enough S.H.I.T, please bring this to the
Attention of your local MP. They have been trained to give you all the
S.H.I.T you can handle.

I commend that you read the foreword note again. If, after doing so, you still wish to point the finger at me in judgement, so be it. But on that note, I would not share with the greater church or prophet that I also met 10cc, Mary Wilson or anyone else that I have met for that matter either....why?
Simply, in a greater and wiser perspective, it is just not important.
You posed an interesting question to me here, I accept that openly and it caused me a great deal of thought as to whether I should delete the post or whatever, so thank you. I welcome anything that causes me to take stock and evaluate myself more, I think that is always healthy and good.
What I do not like about your question though is that it was asked in the shadow of anonymity as though you sit on some higher plane, perhaps you may think you do and are acting as my consciousness.
I simply leave this comment with a question. Did not the Christ ask those about to stone the harlot the timeless question, "He who is without sin cast the first stone?"
