Steve Prestwich and friends

Apart from doing the layout and design for Every Highway, the latest cd release for Steve Prestwich, drummer from Cold Chisel and talented songwriter, this was the first time I had the opportunity to see him perform in his solo vibe at the Brass Monkey venue in Cronulla on Sydney's southern beaches and it was excellent. Unlike his other musical self performing with the chisels, this is a very different, acoustic, almost unplugged sound of Steve the songwriter and musician.

Steve Prestwich was very capably supported by the wonderful Clare O'Meara, Jack Evans and the virtuoso Paul Robert Burton who together created a wonderful dimension and depth to these wonderful songs. I had not heard the songs from the album in some time and they were like a sweet memory that cruised from one great track to another. It was a really pleasant gig. This is another highly recommended must see concert if they are playing in the neighbourhood.
