Arthur Macarthur is getting Married!
Tomorrow I am photographing the wedding of Matthew Krok. Some Australians remember him as Arthur Macarthur in the sitcom TV series called Hey Dad. Matthew played a pivotal role that became a very strong character in the series. I have covered his sister Lisa's wedding a couple of years ago and Matthew & His Bride to be Jade picked me to cover theirs, or would that be best said that both sets of parents picked me, whatever!. As it happens I also have covered Jades sisters wedding a couple of years ago as well!
Matthew has grown into a fine young man. But lets face it he is also lucky, Jade is a special young lady as well who has a wonderful smile and a great personality. I am looking forward to it and will post more pictures as they are complete.
The PR lady of the Angels contacted me and said she loved my pictures. I am very grateful. It is lovely to know your work is appreciated.
Have a great night all!
Comments
I notice that comments on your blog are very few and far between these days. It seems to coincide with the start of comment moderation.
Is the lack of comments because no one is responding? Or are people responding but you are vetting and censoring?
The decline in interaction between you and your readers has somehow changed the nature of your blog. Dare I say, it is not as interesting?
I'm not referring to the nonsense or inappropriate comments. I really miss reading the interesting interchanges. I don't check in as much anymore because apart from your original posts (which are always enjoyable), it's all a bit quiet now. It's lost something - maybe people are too busy?
Yes it is true, comments are fewer these days, but since comment moderation has been enabled, I have had a large number of people comment who said they would not have ever commented previously in a public forum. People wanted to send me messages that would not get published for all to see - so I have lost some people who commented, and gained some others who would not comment previously.
It is a two edged sword I guess, this comment moderation business, but you may have not read the post that suggested why it had to be enabled in the first place.
If you feel it is not as interesting, you may have a point, because I also found many of the posts challenging and stimulating. But no doubt people being busy has affected a few people as well. Thanks for sharing your comment.
Cheers
Craig
I agree, it has been a little bit quiet in the comments section lately. A couple of regular visitors have said that they are very busy right now (V2T, mattp). I also think people were a bit shocked by some inappropriate posting which may have made people hesitant. Things will pick back up again though. Comments very much depend on what Craig puts in his initial post too. It's still fun to come here though. I'm sure lots of people just come to read and look at the images which is great!
