Ronan Keating and Altiyan Childs

Last night I had the absolute pleasure of photographing and meeting the legendary singer Ronan Keating and his protege in the Australian X-Factor television talent show, Altiyan Childs. What a fantastic talent Altiyan is. He is so humble and courteous and I believe if he retains that he will go a long, long way. I am not at liberty to upload pictures that I took last night up on the net as the images will be retained by the client, but I can post a couple of pictures that are of me with Ronan and Altiyan and one of Denzel and Marcelina who were in the crowd on one of the levels above the main area. The screams and the noise were real, but so was the genuine out pouring of emotion for Altiyan. For me it was one of those seminal moments in life when you just know, that if he wants this, it will happen. EVERYbody loved him. I observed some more mature men and women singing and dancing along and I mused silently, that here is a star!! It only begs the question, Where does he go from here?!

For the majority of the audience, Ronan is just a judge on X factor, some people have an idea that he is a singer, but I could not help feel that most people had no real appreciation for just how much of a singer he is and how much talent he has. It was not lost on me though!
