I cannot believe this

Last week some thoughtless person or people shot at a couple of Koalas killing the mother and severely injuring the little baby (joey). These defenceless creatures and indeed an endangered species of this great land do not deserve this, in fact I cannot think of anyone or living thing that does deserve this treatment. I am very sad at what appears to be a wholesale decline in basic moral values. I dont wish to sound prudish or "old" however there is sufficient evidence to suggest that people who are willing to perpetrate such mindless harm to animals, may progress further.
