It has been a big week.

Well, this past week, I was traveling in the state's central west and some few hours from Sydney was able to frolic in the snow, and isn't self timer a wonderful thing! For those who don't know, it doesn't snow in Sydney at all, or at least not in any living memory that I am aware of. That said, it is quite a treat when driving a long to see a covered oasis of snow and it just begged me to come and play, and so I did.

and on the way home I saw this beautiful rainbow that I actually drove through. I was looking for the proverbial "pot o' gold" but alas never found it. But I guess it would be remiss of me not to accept that the pot o gold of being able to walk unaided, be relatively healthy and play in the snow and have a wonderful new car is gold enough!

I also took possession of my new car the other day, and am very pleased with it. It is wonderful.

Where's your snow angel?!? You had enuf snow there to make a snow angel, Craig. Where the devil IS it?

New car is GORgeous! 'Love' the personalized license plate.

Never, in my whole life, have I driven through a rainbow. What a special experience THAT must have been!

Thanks goldenrod,

The snow fell at -1 degrees celcius, Dont know that in farenheit. It was at Mount Lambie just west of Lithgow and about 3 hours west of sydney city. I have never seen a snow Angel before. But there certainly wasn't enough for a snowman. I have played in the snow a few times now but have never seen it actually fall!

Thanks for the comment on the car.

It is soooo nice to drive.

And as for the rainbow, it was a rare experience and one I shall not forget in a hurry.

A 'snow angel', Craig -- just in case you get another opportunity --is made by lying on your back on a previously-untouched area of snow ... doesn't have to be a lot, OK? The imPORtant thing is that no one else's footprints are there ... and, in your pix, there were some areas where you could have done so!

Then you slowly and carefully outstretch your arms and legs back and forth, back and forth, back and forth ... you have to be careful rising to your feet, because you don't want to disturb the 'angel'.

NEXT time, OK?

I don't think the car is befitting a man of your stature. I'm dam sure I'd look good in it though. Looks great

Tub,

I was cracking up with your comment, and yes, how weird is it that we look so similar. It COULD be you driving the car!
