Laura & Krzysztof

Here I am on Friday just kicking back into what is a long weekend here. I think it is to celebrate the Queens Birthday. Quite frankly if a public holiday is attached to it, I will gladly celebrate anyone's birthday at all. I have taken a day off today and Monday is the official public holiday. Well last night in Australia a single person won the biggest lottery win in the countries history. $58 Million. Wow. Lucky person. I am enjoying being Mr. Mum for a few weeks. Denzel is co-operative and we are eating fairly well also, which is good. The cost of fuel, the cost of living is rising higher and higher, but I am happy. I have been really knocked around with the flu, and coupling that with the frantic pace I have been doing things of late it has been hectic at best. I think I am taking stock and just taking some time for "me" over the next few days and weeks. I am enjoying the chill in the air, the breeze and the feel of frozen wet grass under my feet in the wee hours of the morning.

I am placing an image I did here for Laura and Krzysztof at their engagement party. Don't the fairy lights look beautiful. They line the pathway of the river frontage in Lilyfield in Sydney. They are a great couple and I have known Laura for a few years and have been impressed with her as a person and as a former colleague. They will be getting married sometime next year I believe.
