The remains of the Lake

Lake Natron in Tanzania has been rated as the most caustic body of water on the planet with a mixture of sodium carbonate and it experiences extremely high evaporation rates and temperatures on the lake can reach 50 degrees celcius or 120 degrees farenheit and as a result it cannot sustain life the normal levels of animals and birds. British photographer Nick Brandt was able to capture some of the most amazing images of the remains of the birds on the lake. I commend his site to you.
