Copyright Clashs begin over 3D Printing!

I have been made aware in the last few weeks about the rise of 3D Printing. I have been looking at possible options that they can create. They vary in price but you can obtain a good machine for around $2500 - $5,000

Far ahead of me in that regard of things that can be created/ made and sold are many people, among them a young entrepreneur Fernando Sosa created an iphone dock inspired by the Game of Thrones. I was fascinated to learn of the things people are making with 3D printers that range from toys to replacement parts and there is a growing community of patterns and objects that can be shared and downloaded. This is going to become the next battleground for copyright law and will no doubt be over seen by practitioners of law who will undoubtedly earn their next big thing with the money that will be floating around.

An example of the iphone charger can be seen below which HBO (Home Box Office US) demanded to be stopped from being sold - photo: NUPROTO.
