Delta Goodrem at Miranda

I had the wonderful opportunity a few hours ago to spend some time with Delta Goodrem. I have liked and enjoyed many of her songs over the years but this was the first time I had seen her like this, up close and personal with her fans, she embraced, focussed on, listened to, laughed along with and even got misty eyed with each of the people who came to see her, even battling the many tears that people shed when meeting their idol. Delta even perceptively spent more time with one young lady who was struggling in her life and Delta encouraged her to ignore the things that dont help you succeed and move ahead. She stayed until the last person left with their signatures and pictures. I photographed a shot of EVERY fan that lined up, which was almost 550!!! The time she spent with her fans clearly drained her, but she smiled and was so genuinely interested in every single person. Delta was warm and generous to a fault. I was honoured to meet and be close to this gracious lady. Thank you Delta
