The Cake Boss!

last night in Sydney at the Convention Centre and thanks to a dear lady who recommended me to the sponsors, I became the photographer for the Sydney leg of the Rock star like tour of a pastry chef from Hoboken New Jersey, in the US of A called The cake Boss, Buddy Valastro.

What an amazing guy he is / was last night. WOW. I have been to a lot of different gigs over the years but this was out of the mould, the new superstars are clearly Chefs!, look at the popularity of My Kitchen rules, The Masterchef phenomena, and countless others. Clearly the world loves food, and the preparation and presentation of it is captivating. This man I found to be warm, genuine and courteous. He seemed to thank and praise everyone in attendance and won his way into the hearts of many from his popular TV show 3000 people paid some serious money to get close to this guy and I dont think I heard a single person who felt they didnt get their moneys worth.
