Sydney Royal Easter Show

I was at the Sydney Royal Easter show this past week photographing for the Royal Horticultural Society and for a Floral art company whose products supply the industry. Have a look at some of the things that took my interest. As I was taking these pictures a man approached me and said "Are you going to show these pictures on TVSN?" I cracked up. I must admit that I have NO idea who watches TVSN and I am genuinely surprised when people say they see me or know me from TV, it brought a smile to my face...NOT because i was recognised, quite the opposite in fact. I smiled because when I was a young boy my mother would often say to me, "Remember who you are, people are watching you". Indeed they still are. Lucky I wasnt being an idiot when that man saw me!

LOL...wise words of your mom's. ;)

I love the photo of the Mr. Cobb setup. I have to say if I'd have been there, that's the place I would have had lunch...love the colors, the whimsy, and the whole idea of it.

But my favorite photo is of the feet and shoes in the bleachers. Way cool photo, Craig. You always have such interesting angles and thoughts that never occur to us amateur photographers. I've learned a lot about photography from you just by looking at your blog photos.

Hi Tammy thanks for this. Your favourite photo is also mine, but when taking shots like this you have to wait a few moments to not make it look so obvious. There are too many people these days who ascribe perverted behaviours and thoughts with what is in my opinion a harmless "different" picture. But I do have to be careful.

I am a serendipitous photographer when walking around, I photograph what ever takes my interest. I snap it instantly, no thought or assessment, I just take the shots that I like straight away, and then delete the average ones when I can later!

Take care my friend
