Painting # 6
Well a few minutes ago I just put the brushes and chalk down on a new style and adventure of art in the last instalment of jeans before the auction date on September 4. I was given the jeans from the wonderful international songstress Faith Hill. She is a tall and slender woman and it was a thrill to paint these jeans for charity and also to express myself again through a medium that is certainly growing on me. For those who don't know me, I am a photographer and this is only the 6th painting I have ever done!
Compared to many of my dear and gifted friends I have that are true painters and sketchers, I am but a hack, but that makes it very easy for me to paint without bounds or rules other than what I set for myself. I am really proud of this work in particular. I hope it does well and raises much for charity. I can say without doubt or equivocation, that I have given everything I have to help the Children's Medical Research Institute and am proud of my small offering in their behalf.
